Konstantinos Rigos (Greece), Eva Pervolovici (Romania) and Slobodan Maksimovi (Bosnia) constituted the jury of BBB Film Festival 2010.

Konstantinos Rigos

Born in Athens, he graduated from the State School of Dance. He also had studied Finance in Athens University of Economics and Business.

In 1990, he founded Dancetheatre OKTANA:

Les Noces, Room No 5, The garden, Daphnis and Chloe (National dance award 1995), The athlete, 5 seasons (National dance award 1996), Hotel Orpheus, Icarus – Explosive decompression, La dames aux camellias, Alkeste, Ring (National choreography award 1999), Crazy Happiness    (National choreography award 2001), Utopia, Wintereisse, Free besieged-Draft B, Neverland

OKTANA participated in many theater performances, in operas, television shows, and other events.

Furthermore, Oktana participated in many festivals in Greece and abroad. Portugal, U.S.A  Georgia, France, Italy, Sweden, England, Holland, Bosnia, Colombia, Germany, Venezuela, Egypt, Poland, Montenegro, Serbia, Singapore, Israel, Brazil.

In 1995 with Daphnis and Chloe and in 1996 with 5 Seasons, he won the National Dance Award, in 1999 with the play Ring and in 2001 with the play Crazy Happiness, he won the National Choreography Award and in 1997 he won Melina Merkouri Award.

From October 2001 to October 2005, he was Artistic director of the Dancetheatre of National Theatre of northern Greece, for which he choreographed the following plays [Sleeping Beauty, Bluebeard, The ship wreck, winterreise, Igor’s’ Room (Les noces), White noise, and Free besieged.]

His work continued to be shown in many festivals abroad, in Portugal, USA, Georgia, France, Italy, Sweden, Holland, England, Bosnia, Brazil, Israel, Venezuela, Poland, Serbia, Singapore, Germany and Montenegro.

He collaborated with many theatres and companies such as The National Theatre of Northern Greece, Hellenic Festival,, National Theatre, National Opera, Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Athens Concert Hall.

He collaborated as a choreographer with more than thirty directors in Theatre, Cinema, Opera and Television.

He also collaborates with music artists for Music Videos and concerts.

As visual artist, he has participated in various exhibitions.

He collaborated as a contributing artist with the magazines Cool and Soul until March of 2009 and his pictures are published in many other magazines such as Free, Marie Claire, Athens Voice etc.

In 2007, he started the music-visual group “tageria” in which actors and choreographers are participating. Tageria’s first appearance took place in Art-Athens 2007, during the exhibition of New Greek Stage; the group also appeared in Reworks Festival in Thessaloniki and in other events.

During 2006- 2007 he worked again in OKTANA by presenting in Hellenic Festival the play Free besieged-Draft B. In 2008, he directed for National Theatre the play Bossa Nova and in 2009 the play Titanic. He was awarded for his play «Bossa Nova»  the3rd award of direction from ATHINORAMA and the 2nd award of stage design. Now, he is presenting in Theatre Roes the play Emperors’ New Clothes of Elena Penga.

Eva Pervolovici

Eva is a young Romanian film director, recently having completed her MFA Advance Film Practice in Edinburgh. Her short films have been screened at festivals around the world and won several prizes. My Undone School Film (2007), a 16 mm fiction short, won the best Experimental Film at Hyperion Film Festival in Romania and screened at Milwaukee Short Film Festival, USA. Amelia, a black and white 35mm short, won the photography prize and the Special Jury Prize the Early Bird Students’ Film Festival, Bulgaria. “Down the Rabbit Hole”, a 35 mm fiction short, was screened in London, Edinburgh, Milano, Strasbourg, Singapore etc. She currently develops with Strada film a feature film project, written during an “artists in residence” in Paris.

Slobodan Maksimovi

Slobodan Maksimović was born on the 28th of May 1975 in Sarajevo, BiH. From 1996 to 2000 he worked as a journalist in Sarajevo. In 2003 he got accepted to the Theatre, Movie, Radio and Film Academy in Ljubljana, in the course of Film and TV Directing. His first student short fiction film “1/2″ was first shown on the 60th film festival in Cannes. Slobodan Maksimović was one of the 24 talented directors from southeastern region of Europe, who attended 1st Talent Campus in Sarajevo.
